Model XG sprinkler guards and Model XWU flashing shields may be used with Viking XT1 sprinklers where certification requirements are met. The guards are a hardwire cage design that encases the sprinkler and protects it from mechanical damage. Recommended for use in areas where sprinklers are mounted at low heights and/or where there is a lot of human or mechanical activity. Flashing shields protect the sprinkler’s thermal element and prevent water from being ejected from higher heights.
